CAPA Elections
CAPA elections were held during the April 17, 2009 CAPA meeting. Further information will be forthcoming
CAPA Representatives
In accordance with CAPA Policies and Procedures Manual, elections for CAPA representatives are held between April and June of each year. Each eligible unit shall conduct an election for expired or vacant CAPA representative and alternate positions.
CAPA Officers
In accordance with CAPA Policies and Procedures Manual, the Representation and Governance Committee shall distribute a call for nominations for the offices of Chair, Vice Chair, and standing committee Chairs at the February CAPA meeting each year. Nominations received 5 business days before the March CAPA meeting shall be placed on the CAPA Web site. Nominations received after the March meeting shall be circulated with the agenda for the April meeting, if received in time for inclusion. Any additional nominations shall be announced at the April meeting.
CAPA Senators
In accordance with CAPA Policies and Procedures Manual:
- The CAPA representatives to the University Senate shall be elected, at large, at the April general CAPA meeting for a term of 3 years.
- Any current, elected CAPA member or current, elected CAPA alternate is eligible to run to serve as a CAPA senator.
- All duly elected CAPA representatives and alternates shall be eligible to vote on the election of CAPA senators.
