Professional Development and Recognition Committee

Outstanding Unit Nomination Form
Nominations Due April 3, 2009

The Professional Development and Recognition (PD&R) committee strongly recommends that P&A staff have a personal, professional development plan. Toward this end, the PD&R committee facilitates awareness of resources and opportunities that may enhance P&A career development while at the University. In addition, CAPA believes in employee recognition and, therefore, promotes (via the PD&R committee) and sponsors the Outstanding Unit and the Outstanding Service Awards. The Outstanding Unit Award is given each year to the unit at the University that has provided exceptional, singular support for its P&A staff. The Outstanding Service Award is given to individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the University's P&A community. In addition, this committee arranges hospitality for the monthly CAPA meetings. For more information contact Mary Jetter at jette001@umn.edu.
